Neal Gerber Eisenberg has expanded its real estate practice with the addition of Tal Izraeli as a partner in the firm's Chicago office. Izraeli brings extensive experience handling complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development projects.
His practice focuses on representing developers, institutional investors, and corporate users in a range of property matters. Izraeli has particular depth in negotiating ground leases, structuring joint ventures, and managing distressed asset workouts. He also advises clients on financing arrangements and loan restructurings, often working alongside lenders and borrowers to close deals efficiently.
The move strengthens NGE's ability to serve clients across the full lifecycle of real estate assets, from initial site acquisition through construction and long-term management. The firm's real estate group handles office, industrial, retail, and multifamily properties, as well as specialized sectors such as healthcare facilities and data centers.
Izraeli previously practiced at a national law firm, where he was a senior associate in the real estate department. He earned his law degree from a top-tier university and holds a bachelor's degree in urban studies. His arrival is part of NGE's broader strategy to deepen its transactional capabilities in key markets.
The firm said Izraeli's background aligns well with its collaborative culture and client-first approach. His experience with complex, high-stakes negotiations is expected to benefit both existing clients and new matters. NGE continues to invest in its real estate platform, which has seen steady growth in recent years.
